Change text size 

You can change the way you view our site by changing the size of the text, or the size of everything you see on your screen.

Change the size of the text

In order to make our websites easier to read, you can change the size of the text.

Windows users

• Press Ctrl and '+' (plus) to zoom in.
• Press Ctrl and '-' (minus) to zoom out.
• Press Ctrl and '0' (zero) to return the page to its original size.

Mac users

• Press Command and '+' (plus) to zoom in.
• Press Command and '-' (minus) to zoom out.
• Press Command and '0' (zero) to return the page to its original size.

Browser menus

Internet Explorer

1. Open the View menu.
2. Choose ‘Text Size’.
3. Select a text size option.

Select the ‘Medium’ option to return your text to its default size.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Open the View menu.
2. To make your change to the text only, select ‘Zoom Text Only’.
3. Open the View menu again and choose ‘Zoom In’ or ‘Zoom Out’.

Select ‘Reset’ to return your text to its default size.

Google Chrome

1. Click on the spanner icon next to the star icon in the right hand corner.
2. Click on the Zoom button, then '+' (plus) or '-' (minus) to select the percentage for zooming in or out.

Change the size of everything

In most browsers, you can change the size of everything you see on your screen with a keyboard or if you have a mouse with a wheel.

Windows users

• Press and hold the ‘Ctrl’ button, then press '+' (plus) to zoom in.
• Press and hold the ‘Ctrl’ button, then press '-' (minus) to zoom out.
• Press and hold the ‘Ctrl’ button, then press '0' (zero) to return the page to its original size.

Mac users

• Press and hold the Command button and press '+' (plus) to zoom in.
• Press and hold the Command button and press '-' (minus) to zoom out.
• Press and hold the Command button and press '0' (zero) to return the page to its original size.

To change the size with a mouse, hold down the CTRL (or COMMAND) key, and then scroll the wheel to zoom in or out.

Internet Explorer 7 and above

1. On the bottom right corner of the browser, click the arrow to the right of the ‘Change Zoom Level’ Button.
2. Choose one of the percentage options.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Open the View menu.
2. Ensure ‘Zoom Text Only’ is not selected.
3. Open the View menu again and choose ‘Zoom In’ or ‘Zoom Out’.

Google Chrome

1. Click on the spanner icon next to the star tab in the right hand corner.
2. Click on the Zoom button, then '+' (plus) or '-' (minus) to select the percentage for zooming in or out.
